ABOUT
I’m a visual effects artist based in Bristol in the United Kingdom. I have 13 years of professional experience working in video production. I’ve worked across multiple visual effects disciplines during my career but the area I have the most expertise in and enjoy the most is compositing.
I have worked on a wide variety of projects for different platforms; commercials, online promos, feature films, documentaries, music videos and 3D ride experiences. I have recently worked on content for Disney Plus and Amazon Primes streaming channels.
I strive for authenticity and believability in my work. I’m open to lots of different types of projects but my favourite type of compositing work is augmenting filmed footage and enhancing the world-building within a project.

SKILL
I've been working with Nuke since 2017. I can carry out CG integration tasks, whether that's CG creatures, environments or FX. I have experience with camera projections, keying and edgework, set extensions, particle systems and have used DEEP extensively. I have started experimenting with AI tools like Comfy UI and the Nuke cattery models. I also have some generalist intermediate knowledge using 3D in Blender and Unreal.

EXPERIENCE
Myself and two colleagues ran a LTD video production company since 2012 called Immix Media, I was responsible for visual effects. We worked on over 150 individual video projects over that time. Nearly all of which required some visual effects work from on-set vfx supervision to 3D modelling, texturing, animation and 2D compositing. I eventually transitioned into the visual effects industry and have worked as senior compositor as well as a lead looking after small teams.

ATTITUDE
I am a good collaborator and easy to get on with. I feel as though I am a very experienced practitioner in the field of visual effects at this point in my career but at the same time, I know I have only scratched the surface. I’m always hungry to learn more about the craft and improve, I am excited to see how the AI age evolves filmmaking and curious as to what tools we will have at our disposal.
